It includes a 3.5X-90X super widefield zoom stereo microscope head, 3D jewelry/gem clamp (tweezers), a rotatable round stage with darkfield iris condenser, a professional GEM stand and, a high resolution 3MP digital camera. It offers 8" (200mm) working distance, 2-1/2" (65mm) super wide field of view and 26:1 large zoom magnification range. The microscope is illuminated with a 30W darkfield halogen light built in to the base and a 7W gooseneck rectangular fluorescent incident light box, providing rich spectrum, high-temperature color and close-to-daylight illumination. The incident light box shines light down onto objects, used to observe the surface details and fine structures of jewels or gemstones. The transmitted light through the darkfield condenser is designed for the examination of the inside quality of diamonds. The digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features.
